What inspires the Auspicious Bird collection?
The collection is inspired by the Yongzhao Auspicious Bird motif in the visual heritage of Gongyi, Henan, China. Its upward movement evokes strength, vitality, ambition and good fortune. GONGYI reinterprets this historic imagery through contemporary decorative objects made for everyday spaces.
Are GONGYI products antiques or original artifacts?
No. GONGYI products are contemporary decorative objects inspired by the art, architecture and cultural motifs of Gongyi. They are not antique objects, archaeological finds or direct replicas of museum artifacts.
What is the difference between the Round Art Panel and the Collector Acrylic Edition?
The Round Art Panel presents the Auspicious Bird motif in a circular format and includes a display stand. It is offered with different border treatments, including Floral and Geometric designs.
The Collector Acrylic Edition uses a layered acrylic structure to create added depth and a more sculptural, gallery-inspired display. It is the premium edition within the collection.

Where are GONGYI products made?
Our Auspicious Bird pieces are produced in small batches in Gongyi, Henan, China. Each design begins with the cultural and artistic heritage of this place, connecting contemporary objects with the stories behind them.
Are the pieces suitable for outdoor use?
Our current Auspicious Bird decorative pieces are designed for indoor display. They are suited to bookshelves, desks, studies, reception areas and other curated interior spaces.
Will every piece look exactly the same?
Our products are contemporary editions produced in small batches, rather than one-of-a-kind antiques. Please use the images and specifications on each product page as the reference for the design. If a particular detail is important to you, contact us before placing your order.
How should I display and care for my GONGYI piece?
